The Pretty Penny Care & Support Foundation exists to support children and young people affected by illness or disability, and to help improve their health, wellbeing and quality of life.
We provide practical support, grants and resources to families and organisations involved in their care.
About Us
The Foundation was established following a family experience of cancer in 2023. After organising a charity golf day to support organisations involved in care and treatment, the response from the community led to further fundraising and the creation of a registered charity.
We are a grant-making charity focused on helping children, young people and families affected by serious illness, working alongside healthcare providers and charitable organisations.
What We Do
We support children and young people by:
• Providing grants to help with costs arising from illness or disability
• Funding equipment, resources and practical support
• Assisting families with travel, care and wellbeing-related needs
• Supporting hospitals, hospices and charities that improve patient care
• Improving comfort, wellbeing and quality of life during treatment and recovery
All support is provided based on need and in line with the charity’s objectives.
Our Focus
We support children and young people affected by a wide range of conditions, illnesses and disabilities. Support is not limited to a single diagnosis and is assessed on individual circumstances and need.
Our Values
Compassion
We treat every individual with dignity, empathy and respect.
Community
We work with families, volunteers, organisations and supporters to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Transparency
We operate openly and ensure all funds are used solely for charitable purposes.
Inclusion
We provide support fairly and without discrimination, based on need.
Get Involved
The Foundation is funded through public donations, fundraising events, corporate support and grants. Every contribution helps us support children and families facing the challenges of serious illness.
If you would like to support our work, please get in touch or take part in one of our fundraising events.
